

Get the bead you need for professional results!
Pointed Tip Technique
1. Apply caulk according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
2. Place finger inside concave area of tool.
3. Press pointed tip firmly against joint, holding at desired angle. Glide
tool backwards along the joint, smoothing the bead.
4. The higher the angle, the smaller the bead.
Wedge End Technique
1. Apply caulk according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
2. You will notice that the tip of the wedge has a small notch. The size of
this notch will determine the size of the bead. If needed, trim the notch
to achieve the desired bead size.
3. Hold the caulking tool against the joint at a 30° angle, making sure
that the front edges of the wedge are firmly touching the edges of the joint.
4. Glide the tool forward along the bead.
5. Excess caulk will collect in the wedge; remove as needed.
Cleanup
Clean caulking tool with warm, soapy water for reuse. Clean any excess caulk
according to manufacturer’s cleanup instructions.
