Creating a Custom Finish Is as Easy As Painting!
Creating custom faux finishes doesn’t have to be difficult. Paint additives are a convenient way to add depth and texture to a room. There are a couple extra steps, but using Spraytex decorative wall textures is as easy as painting!

Paint additives

1. Repair any holes. Although Spraytex Decorative Textures will hide any minor imperfections, it is best to start with a repaired surface that is clean and dry.
2. We always recommend that you prime before you paint, which improves paint adhesion and reduces the risk of peeling.
3. Use a large bucket for mixing your paint with Spraytex Decorative Texture. Pour in a gallon of your favorite paint. Then gradually mix in the texture compound, stirring well to ensure even dispersal.
4. One box of Spraytex Decorative Texture per one gallon paint is a good starting point. However, you can add more or less per gallon depending on the result you are looking for. Consider mixing two different kinds of Spraytex for an even more distinctive look!
5. Once the texture and paint are mixed well, apply your paint according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
6. Paint mixed with additives are best applied with a long-nap roller.
7. Clean up according to paint manufacturer’s guidelines
